Leather Edge Paint

Leather Edge Paint Craft Line is a water-based polyurethane
edge paint designed specifically for finishing leather edges. After drying, it creates a pleasing semi-matt finish, similar to premium handbag and small leather goods edges. The edge retains its appearance, shape, and colour at both higher and lower temperatures, without tackiness or cracking as described.

It is suitable for edge finishing and can also be used for repair and restoration work on worn edges.

For new leather edges

1. Cut and shape the edge using an edge beveller to create a clean semicircle or rectangular profile.
2. Apply a thin coat using a spatula applicator or an edge finish applicator pen.
3. Let dry at least 60 minutes, then apply additional coats to build the desired edge shape.
4. After the final coat, let the item dry for 12 hours for complete curing.

For refurbishing worn edges

1. Remove the old cracked edge finish first.
2. Apply Leather Edge Paint in thin coats as above, building shape with additional layers.
