Leather Light Filler

Leather Light Filler is a creamy, water-based repair compound for superficial leather damage. It spreads easily with a spatula,
bonds strongly to the leather, then dries to an elastic structure that resists cracking or peeling during normal use. It is suitable for repairs on semi-aniline leathers, followed by painting with Leather Colourant.

Professional product, correct prep and layering are important.

Repair application

1. Apply a thin layer to the prepared damaged area.
2. Dry with a household hair dryer for a few minutes to speed drying.
3. Because it is water-based, slight sinking can occur, apply additional thin layers until flush once fully dry.
4. Sand the final coat with fine abrasive paper to remove small irregularities.
5. Optional tinting: add up to 10% Leather Colourant to match colour.

Painting and protection

1. Paint using thin, even coats, spraying is recommended for best finish.
2. Protect with Leather Top Coat plus 5 to 10% Leather Cross Linker X.
3. Optional feel and performance additives (used with top coat): Leather Slip Additive, Leather Wax-Effect Additive, Leather X-Guard Additive, Leather Casein Additive, Leather Thickening Agent.
4. Typical use after 2 to 3 hours, full cure 8 to 12 hours. Avoid cleaners and leather care products for the first week.
