Overview
Leather Surface Repair, Expert Line is a flowable repair
compound used when micro-damage must be repaired while maintaining the leather’s original texture. It strengthens worn leather and fills micro-cracks, creating a durable base before painting.

How To Use
How To Use
Repair application
- Apply using a sponge applicator, spatula, or brush.
- Gently fill small cracks, then dry with a hair dryer.
- Apply several thin layers, drying thoroughly between coats. Slight sinking as it dries is normal.
- Tint if needed by adding up to 10% Leather Colourant.
Colour application
- Shake colourant thoroughly before use.
- Apply thin, even coats, spraying recommended. General spray guidance: dilute with distilled water if needed, nozzle 0.5–1.2 mm, pressure 1.1–8 bar depending on equipment, compressed air must be free from water and oil, filter through a 190 micron filter.
Top coat
- Protect with Leather Top Coat plus Cross Linker X (5 to 10%).
- Optional additives can be used with top coat: Leather Slip Additive, Leather Wax-Effect Additive, Leather X-Guard Additive, Leather Casein Additive, Leather Thickening Agent.
- Typical use after 2 to 3 hours, full cure 8 to 12 hours. Avoid cleaners and leather care products for the first week.
Tool cleanup
- Rinse tools with water, use LeTech Leather Prep if needed.
